Overview

Kedarnath is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and has gained importance because of Kedarnath Temple. It is a Nagar panchayat in Rudraprayag district. The most remote of the four Chota Char Dham sites, Kedarnath is located in the Himalayas, about 3,583 m (11,755 ft) above sea level near Chorabari Glacier, the source of river Mandakini, and is flanked by snow-capped peaks, most prominently Kedarnath mountain. The nearest road head is at Gaurikund about 16kms away.

Itinerary

Day 1
MUMBAI - DELHI

Borad BDTS ASR SPL (02925) at 12:00 PM & Proceed to Delhi.

Day 2
HARIDWAR

Arrive in New Delhi and depart to Haridwar. Check-in at the hotel.
Evening Enjoy Ganga Aarti, Hari Ki Pauri, Ganga Ghat. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3
GUPT KASHI

Early breakfast and depart for Guptkashi. Guptkashi Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4
KEDARNATH

Early breakfast and leave for Sonprayag Kedarnath (i.e.Base of Kedarnath) Then after 20 km trek towards Kedarnath Temple. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5
GUPT KASHI

Early morning visit to Kedarnath temple. Guptkashi After the visit have breakfast proceed to Sonprayag. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6
RISHIKESH

Breakfast & Proceed to Rishikesh by bus. Rishikesh Check in to the hotel by evening. Free time for leisure. Dinner & overnight in hotel.

Day 7
RISHIKESH

Laxman Zhulla. Proceed to Adventure Activities i.e River Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Flying Fox, Cliff Jumping, Body Surfing. Enjoy Riverside Bonfire in the evening.
Dinner & overnight journey to Delhi.

Day 8
DELHI-MUMBAI

Breakfast, proceed to Delhi Railway Station & board Paschim Express (02926) for BDTS.

Day 9
DELHI-MUMBAI

Reach BDTS by 2:45 and disperse with Happy Memories.
